Articulated Pangolin Sculpture by altaiira
Articulated Pangolin Sculpture
A more recent addition to my articulated art -- this time of the adorable & very peculiar Pangolin! If you've never heard of these creatures before, please read about them & spread awareness of their existence. They're quite amazing, and sadly endangered & threatened due to loss of habitat and being hunted for traditional medicine, their meat, or using their body parts for fashion purposes...

This little guy is entirely hand-sculpted from Premo polymer clay with some gold clay mixed in his scales for sparkle. His neck, tail, legs, and arms are all segmented to allow free movement. I coated his eyes & nails with glossy Varathane finish for added realisim. I really love this little guy. Love He's so cute.

Lucky Cat - Blue Koi - Cherry Blossoms Phone Charm by altaiira
Lucky Cat - Blue Koi - Cherry Blossoms Phone Charm
This was a custom order request for one of my best customers; she loves ordering custom phone charms from me and has continued supporting my art for a couple years now. Truly a blessing, she's inspired me to make many amazing & beautiful charms!

The Lucky Cat, Koi fish, and cherry blossoms are all hand-sculpted from Premo polymer clay, details painted on with acrylic paint, & coated in glossy Varathane finish. Hand-linked jump rings keep them all together on the charm.

If you love what you see & would like to inquire about a custom order from me or see what I have currently for sale, please visit my Etsy shop AGSculpts and send me a message there! I get Etsy notifications straight to my phone, so I'll reply ASAP! No fanart requests please. Original ideas or public domain characters only, that's my policy.

Rainbow Cheshire Cat Tea Bag String Holder by altaiira
Rainbow Cheshire Cat Tea Bag String Holder
I absolutely love Alice in Wonderland & especially Cheshire Cat! I recently was inspired by my best friend to make little cup companions that sit on the edge of the mug & hold onto tea bag strings to prevent them from falling into the brew! I've had my tags & strings plop in my tea before, and sometimes it can be a pain to fish them back out of there. These little tea string holders prevent that problem from ever happening. :)

This is my first tea bag holder creation. I wanted to make a new kind of Cheshire Cat with beautiful rainbow stripes all along his body. I'm really happy with how he turned out!

He's entirely hand-sculpted from Premo polymer clay, with exception of his eyes & teeth which are made from Fimo glow-in-the-dark clay, and is just under 2" long. Each stripe was individually molded and placed. :3

Custom Guitar Ornament by altaiira
Custom Guitar Ornament
Custom requested guitar ornament I made back in 2014. It was a little daunting with how exact my customer wanted it to be with the guitar strap in front & positioned as close as possible to the photo for sentimental reasons. I did my best, and she was very pleased with how it turned out!

The guitar is hand-sculpted from Premo polymer clay, with various bits of wire in the pegs at top & the whammy bar for support. There's also a toothpick embedded in the neck, too. The bridge bar is wire between two pieces of clay, and each fret bar is a piece of wire embedded in the clay. I wove thread around the tuning pegs & bridge to make up the guitar's strings. Small details are painted on with acrylic paint or written with archival ink, and it's entirely coated with Varathane glossy finish.

I no longer offer custom guitar ornaments through my Etsy Shop, but I enjoyed experimenting with making this mini model and am quite happy with how it turned out!

Articulated Skeletal Viper Sculpture by altaiira
Articulated Skeletal Viper Sculpture
Fully articulated viper with his skeleton on the outside! I was inspired by Halloween & my love for snakes, and made this back in 2014. I really enjoy segmenting & articulating polymer clay, the result feels amazing to me and this snake is no exception. He feels so awesome, and is super fun to hold & position wherever.

His skeleton, eyes, and tongue are made from glow-in-the-dark Fimo polymer clay, and his body from black Premo polymer clay. His whole body is segmented to allow free movement, and his jaw opens & closes, too! :D He's around 14" long from tip of tail to tip of nose when fully stretched.

To see more photos of him, or if interested in giving him a new home, please view my Etsy shop listing here.

Thank you for looking! :)

I have been dabbling in arts & crafts for as long as I can remember. Over the years I've refined my skills quite a bit, but still have much to learn and improve upon. Recently I decided to try selling my art on Etsy, and hope to turn it into a full-time career someday. I certainly love creating amazing things, and am looking forward to sharing it with others. :)
